Testing….

I can’t upload pics from home; must be something to do with my settings, so I thought I’d test it from work. Here’s some random pics just to try it out…. 8¬)

    I thought I might add to my comments; regarding image uploads which I added ‘Drink and Cameras…’

    Paul’s images here are bigger in physical dimension. And the file size is still quite small at 74Kb. (It could probably be even smaller without losing much quality). So Paul, what did you do to process the image between camera and blog?

    Also, I don’t know why you have trouble uploading pics - maybe need to take a look at your web settings on your home PC….

    Those pics were taken, processed and hosted by someone else, I just saved from his photo site and pasted into US, so I can’t say how they were reduced, but they came out just right first time. He’s a camera+computer boff, so knows his stuff.

    Any pics I’m sending or uploading anywhere, I always open them and save-as in MS PAINT without actually doing anything in PAINT. This usually reduces the file size to approx 1/4 of the original or even less, without any apparent loss of quality. If anyone knows a better method, please tell….
